Snap Judgment is a game show that aired on NBC. It is widely considered to be a clone of Password.
Before airtime, two contestants are sequestered off stage to write down assocations for words that their celebrity partners on stage had to guess for cash prizes. The team had three chances to guess the word for $10, otherwise the opposing team could win the money by correctly getting it. If neither team gets the word, the first letter of the word is revealed and the celebrities ring in to guess it. The winning team played "The Big Five," with the celebrity communicating clues to his/her civilian partner.
Later, the series adapted a format identical to Password, even duplicating that show's Lightning Round.
