The Show
Behind the Scenes
- This episode was aired out of order, originally intended for February 7, 1997, just before "The Exodus" two-parter. However, it wound up airing three weeks after Arturo was killed off. As a result, an opening scene was filmed and attached to the beginning of the episode so as to set up the remainder as a flashback.
- Various Gineers were played by Cirque du Soleil performers.

Goofs
- Quinn says not once but twice that the three Earths and the moon are in syzygy. No, they're not. Syzygy is when three or more astronomical objects are in alignment and from what we see, these objects are in different places in the sky.
- Wade, Haley, and Quinn inexplicably just stand in one spot as the earth quakes and opens up right beside them while everyone else clearly backs away.
- Falling from such a great height would surely cause Wade some serious harm (after all, it does kill Haley), but she never says anything or show any signs of injury.
- When Quinn asks if the syzygy is causing the earthquakes, Arturo responds. The tree branch covering his face was clearly used as an opportunity to dub in his reply, but you can still see that his mouth isn't moving.
- Arturo is scratching his arm and there is a close-up of it as he stops. He calls to Rembrandt and then another close shot of his arm. The first shot shows his arm covered in simple scabs, but the next close-up, just 12 seconds later, shows thorns piercing through.
- Arturo refers to his illness by stating that he saw a doctor in San Francisco, from the episode "The Guardian". However, when the Sliders came to the following world, it is noted almost immediately that it is the first time they had to been to San Francisco since Logan St. Clair modified their timer in "Double Cross".
- The sliders have three days on this world, but just before everyone leaves the underground, Quinn says they have only an hour. It seems very unlikely that as many as three days have passed while Rembrandt and Arturo were imprisoned with Wade and Quinn trapped underground.
