Sinbad Jr. (formally named Sinbad Jr. The Sailor) is a syndicated animated adventure series.

The son of the famed seafarer Sinbad, Sinbad Jr. and his pal Salty (a parrot) engage in nautical adventure with assorted ne'er-do-wells. He becomes superhuman after pulling his belt.

Sam Singer first originated the characters in a guest appearance of his 1959 series Bucky And Pepito, then produced a series of cartoons with Sinbad Jr. and Salty in 1960 with intent of distributing them himself through his Trans-Artists company. But the characters were owned by American International Television, so TV syndication would not come until 1965, long after Singer shut down his studio. AITV had the Hanna-Barbera studio produce a second batch of cartoons which would be syndicated with the Singer films. The Hanna-Barbera series was renamed Sinbad Jr. And His Magic Belt.

MGM Television, which now owns the AITV library, is the show's distributor.
