Plot Overview

Sgts. Chris Lorenzo and Rita Lee Lance, two detectives in the Palm Beach Police Department who specialize in crimes of passion, are assigned the case of a murdered swimsuit model. The prime suspect, her volleyball star husband, is arrested, and the motive appears to be that she wanted a divorce, but he insists that he wanted to reconcile with her and they believe him. Eventually, they discover a possible connection between the murder and the rape of a waitress, for which the son of one of Palm Beach's most prominent citizens, is on trial for.
