Shining Time Station is a children's series that introduced Thomas the Tank Engine to American audiences. It aired on PBS from 1989 to 1993 and continued in reruns until 1998. The series also reran on Fox Family from 1998 to 1999 and on Nick, Jr. in the summer of 2000. Both Fox Family and Nick, Jr. only aired Seasons 2 and 3.
