Secret Diary of a Call Girl is a comedy based on the purportedly true diary of a high-class London escort. Frank and funny, Belle de Jour: Diary of a London Call Girl took the online world in storm and was awarded the 2003 Best Written British Blog by The Guardian. A book deal ensued, resulting in The Intimate Adventures of a London Call Girl (retitled Diary of an Unlikely Call Girl in the US) from which the show has been adapted.
