Plot Overview

At the lake, Adair and Chase discuss what is troubling him. He tells her there are "some things you can't run to". While dining at a restaurant, Stu and Jo overhear what they are sure is a "murder" plot. Stephanie, Wendy, and the crew fret over Chase's absence at the dress rehearsal for the first episode of "Knights of the Turntable". Wendy offers to stand in as host for Chase during the lighting checks. Stephanie and Wendy argue over Wendy's show credit and her last name being "Carter" not "Wilkins". Justine tries to talk Stephanie into featuring some of the dancers on the show and tells her about a routine she has planned. Stephanie blows her off. Chase, while relaxing at the cabin, recalls numerous pleasant memories of he and Adair together. Then, in walks Adair. They give in to their feelings and make love, even though afterwards he feels guilty about Alec's memory. Suzi shows up at the tv station with an urgent request that Stephanie babysit for Jonah. Brett calls Warren to tell him that Jonah will be in Stephanie's office for at least a couple of hours. Stu and Jo go to the golf course to further investigate the "murder" plot. They mistake real-life Olympic gold medalist, swimmer Rowdy Gaines for the possible intended "murder" victim.
