Red Dwarf/Polymorphs

Polymorphps are a type of genetically engineered lifeform that is capable of changing shape or appearance at will. It may appear as anything from a bit of linen to a living, breathing person.
Their "natural" appearance varies according to what type of polymorph they are, but generally they look quite disgusting. The polymorph in the Red Dwarf episode of the same name, was originally designed on Earth as a sort of super-soldier that could walk among its enemies undetected.
