Primetime (previously Primetime Live, Primetime Wednesday and Primetime Thursday), is a news magazine that airs on ABC. The show includes topics on current events and investigative journalism often employing hidden cameras. In fall 1998 the show merged with ABC's other newsmagazine 20/20 but the Primetime name was brought back in fall 2000.

Since October 2006 ABC no longer gives the program a normal timeslot but instead uses it to fill short schedule gaps with a block of episodes on a single topic under a banner title such as Primetime: Medical Mysteries or Primetime: Basic Instincts with the occasional special report single episodes.
