- The Red Hot Chili Peppers' song that is playing at the start of the movie, was actually in the opening scene of the original pilot.
- Upon entering the crane zord cockpit, Kimberly exclaims, "nice stereo!" This is reminiscent of the first time she entered the pterodactyl zord cockpit in Day of the Dumpster.

- Much of the movie was actually shot twice. The two main reasons being the cast change of Dulcea, and the fact that the original design for the suits did not have visors or mouthpieces.
- Catherine Sutherland actually auditioned for the part of Dulcea, before she was cast in the show as Katherine Hillard.
Allusions and References
- While distroying the command center, Ivan Ooze begins listing off things that he missed out on, including: The Black Plague, The Spanish Inquisition and the Brady Bunch Reunion.
- Adam: Welcome to Jurassic Park.
This is said walking through a dinosaur graveyard, referencing the dinosaur movie, Jurassic Park.
- Ivan Ooze: Hi Honey, I'm home.
This is a popular saying in family sitcoms.
