Alex, a high ranking Time Force officer, is portrayed by Jason Faunt. It is generally assumed that Alex--in some way--is a descendant of Wesley Collins.

Character History
- 9x01 - Force from the Future: Alex is assumed dead after battling Ransik. He gives Jen his chrono morpher, explaining that their are four more in the time ship.
- 9x09 - The Time Shadow: Alex sends the rangers a new megazord back to the year 2001, the Time Shadow.
- 9x20 - Quantum Secrets: Alex sends Eric information on his Mega Battle power up.
- 9x29 - Fight Against Fate (2): Alex arrives in the year 2001 and takes back his chrono morpher from Wes. Only to have the rangers force him to give it back in the following episode.
- 9x36 - Circuit Unsure: Alex cuts off Circuit's information of the future.
- 9x38 - The End of Time (1): Alex orders Jen and the others to return to the year 3000, only for her to end the transmission.

Trivia
- Jason Faunt was the first actor to play a season-long double role--that wasn't entirely voice over--with Alex and Wes. This would be repeated two seasons later with Grant McFarland's double role of Lothor and Sensei.
- Jason Faunt was also the first actor to play two different characters that were both Power Rangers. John Tui also portrayed two different characters, that were also Power Rangers-- Doggie Cruger, the S.P.D. Shadow Ranger and Daggeron, the Mystic Force Solaris Knight.
