Plot Overview
The District Attorney calls on Pete to prevent a possible mistrial in his case against a mobster. The man has threatened to frame his son for a trumped-up murder charge unless the D.A. throws the case. Pete has to find the 'murder victim', a thug with a scar on his face who worked with the mobster's beautiful girlfriend to enact the frame.
