Person to Person was a talk show created (and originally hosted) by Edward R. Murrow. It featured the host chatting with various people, some in entertainment and sports, and some with educated jobs such as lawyers, professors, and scientists. The talk show specifically avoided issues of politics and current events and instead focused on aspects of the guest's lives.
