Biography
The youngest of three, Patty Petersen was born December 2, 1954 in Glendale, California. When her parents divorced in 1962, Patty and her older brother Paul went to live with their mother, who later remarried.
Paul was one of the stars of The Donna Reed Show and Patty wanted to be on the show with him. In late 1962, producer Tony Owen said she could be on the show and thus, in January 1963 Patty joined the cast as Trisha, an adopted child. She stayed on until the end in 1966.
After several commercials and industrial films, she semi-retired to marry and raise a family. She continued her professional training with emphasis as a country songwriter/singer. Patty, who now spells her name Patti, is also a writer and owner of Internovel, an Internet company for various novice authors.
Patti Petersen Mirkovich now is a teacher of English and computer science at a Catholic school and volunteer coach for the girls' softball team. She has two children, Tim and Melissa.
