Online Nation is a reality series that aired on The CW. The series was developed around the popularity of viral videos that have made online video services like YouTube and Google Video famous. Each episode would contain popular video clips, blog segments and anything else gaining attention in the online world. The program also provided a way for viewers to communicate with each other live on the air.
The series was a bomb in every sense of the word. It gained the dubious honor of being the most poorly rated series the network has seen since it was established in 2006. The debut episode garnered a rating of 0.7/1, just shy of a million viewers. Over the following three episodes, the program hemorrhaged viewers until is sank to a rating of 0.4/1, or about 500,000 viewers.
The series was cancelled on October 17, 2007.
