The Mad Hatter was once a man with considerable magical abilitities. His real name was Jefferson, and he lived in one of the kingdoms of the Enchanted Forest, but after being tricked by Queen Regina, he became trapped in Wonderland as a prisoner of The Queen of Hearts. During his time in Wonderland, Jefferson lost his mind and became known as The Mad Hatter. He is played by Sebastian Stan and has appeared in six episodes to date.
