Grumpy was once a dwarf living in the enchanted forest with his six dwarf brothers, who all worked together as miners. After Queen Regina unleashed an evil curse on the entire land, Grumpy ended up living in Storybrooke as Leroy, an unemployed, bitter man and the town drunk.
