Neverwhere is a fantasy miniseries created by famed novelist and comic book author Neil Gaiman for the BBC. The six-episode series is based around Richard Mayhew, a man who decides to help an injured woman named Door and becomes a part of "London Below," a parallel version of the "London Above."

The series was first devised by Neil Gaiman when he was conversing with Lenny Henry about stories that could be included in a fundraiser book for the UK charity Comic Relief. Henry commented that people are so used to the homeless population in London streets that they don't "see" them anymore. The series was later adapted into a novel written by Gaiman.
