Teresa and Jeff have 3 chidlren, Imari (4), and identical twins Kobi and Kadin (2-and-a-half). Jeff is going back to work after being a stay-at-home dad for 2 years and Teresa is to stop working to look after the children. When Nanny Deb arrives, she notices that Jeff does very well with the children and they respond well to him, but the same cannot be said about Teresa. First, she doesn't lift a finger at home. As soon as Jeff leaves, the kids just mess around, and completely ignore their mum. As soon as they start tantruming, Mum gives them junk food to appease them. By doing that, Teresa undermines Jeff's authority. The kids also refuse to sleep in their own beds and the parents have difficulties toilet-training Kobi and Kadin. During the week, Teresa really struggles spending the whole day at home with the children, and only wants to go back to work and ask Jeff to quit his job. She also cannot bear to hear them crying during bedtime when Nanny Deb decides to send them all to their own beds, and just wants to give in. Will Nanny Deb manage to teach Teresa that she cannot continue to rely on Jeff constantly? Will she stop letting her children manipulate her by crying? Can she have the confidence to stay at home with the children while Jeff is at work?
