Allusions and References
- Megan makes references to the arsonists being like "Leopold and Loeb, a leader and a follow" who were muderers in the 1920's. The case she refers to is that of the 1924 murder trial of Richard Loeb and Nathan Leopold. In the trial it's noted that Loeb wanted to commit the perfect crime just to prove that it could be done.
