• At the end, Crabman asks whether Joy whether she can take her anti-anger medicine with birth control. Joy says, "I don't take birth control."

• After Earl runs his bookie out of cash, a man in a bowler hat approaches him at the bar. The man's lengthy description of a place to gamble ends with, "There's a door that says, 'Danger, Don't Enter' -- that's where you enter." He appears to run the gambling event, which involves betting on what number a chicken will defecate upon. He "comps" Earl later in the episode.
