Jessica becomes involved in a man's efforts to clear his name after he was convicted of murdering his boss in 1949.
This episode is a sequel of sorts to the 1949 film noir classic, "Strange Bargain". Some of the cast members of that movie (Jeffrey Lynn, Harry Morgan and Martha Scott) reprise their roles in this episode.
