Dream of the Dead is one of the specials of Mr. Meaty. It is also the series finale.

Plot Overview
One day at Mr. Meaty, Parker tells Josh that a man named Lucas E. Romero is having a horror movie competition, where Josh and Parker can make their Ninja Zombies movie.
At home, they try and think of ideas on how to make their movie, but to no avail. They start to lose hope, but then realize that they can just improvise instead. So they put up a sign that reads, "Ninja Zombies Bikini Babe Robot War Etc... Auditions Today" and say that they're gonna find some girls in the mall to play the "Bikini Babes". They call many people for some parts in their movie, like Gord, the Ashleys, Mr. Carney, Wink, Doug (whom they hired), and the Tater Tots.
Josh (who is controlling the camera) and Parker then go to a graveyard and go to the deceased horror film actor Karlon Bugosi's grave, and Parker starts digging to the ground and sees the coffin. Goth Girl (whom Josh and Parker brought along with them) then reads an ancient chant that she found on a website called Raisethedead.zombies to try and bring Bugosi back from the dead, and she then reads it and it actually works. When Parker asks Mr. Bugosi if he would like to be in their movie, the actor goes berserk and tries to eat Goth Girl's brain, but Josh and Parker manage to save Goth Girl and tie Mr. Bugosi to a tree, and then Parker keeps begging Bugosi to be in their Ninja Zombies movie, but the zombie actor refuses and says that he's lost his taste ranking and that what he only tastes now are brains. Josh then tells Mr. Bugosi that if he acts in their movie, they'll serve him up an "all you can eat buffet of brains".
The two boys then get the crew all ready and do an action sequence in which Mr. Bugosi jumps out from a grave and then Josh and Parker, playing ninjas, come out and attack him, but Parker screws this up when he accidentally kicks Mr. Bugosi's head off. Josh then tells the crew to start looking for Mr. Bugosi's head, but then the decapitated Bugosi tells Josh and Parker that his head is on the other side of the wall.
The people then duct tape Mr. Bugosi's head back on. Josh and Parker then get into an argument, but then one of the crew members, Gavin, gets an idea and creates a fake brain to try and trick Mr. Bugosi. They then walk over to him and Josh hands him the "brain". Mr. Bugosi then grabs the "brain" and tries to eat it, but realizes that it's not real and decides to eat everyone's brains. Josh orders the crew to run away, but then Mr. Bugosi throws Josh and Parker to the floor. Josh and Parker tell Bugosi to go ahead and eat their brains since they're not doing them any good. So Mr. Bugosi picks the boys up and tries to eat their brains, but fails. He then tells them the secret of becoming a really good artist: Things don't always turn out the way they hope and to never give up (he also says that he never gave up on his quest for brains). Josh tells Mr. Bugosi that they still won't make the contest deadline tomorrow, but Bugosi says that they're still 4 hours away from sunrise, and they manage to finish the action sequence with success.
The next morning, in Mr. Romero's office, the filmmaker tells Josh and Parker that their movie was "awesomely terrible", but admits that his own film was a lot worse than Josh and Parker's, which amazes the duo. He then tells the boys to get out of his office, and they do so. Outside of Mr. Romero's office, Josh and Parker meet up with Mr. Bugosi, who asks the duo what Romero said. Parker tells Bugosi that Mr. Romero said that their movie was the worst thing he's ever seen and Josh says that he also thought that Bugosi stank, which makes the actor feel sad. Parker reassures him that it's okay because Romero's movies were also bad and that it doesn't change the fact that he and Josh are going to make movies forever. Mr. Bugosi congratulates the boys on their work and Josh tells Parker that their next movie should be Zombies in Space. Mr. Bugosi then goes into Mr. Romero's office and eats his brain.
The scene then shows Josh and Parker moving to Hollywood and becoming famous for their work on 7 Ninja Zombie movies, remained best friends forever, and never went back to Mr. Meaty (they only went one time, but just to buy the company and then close every single part of the franchise). It is also shown that Mr. Bugosi ate Romero's brain and half the people in Scaunchboro, but no one seemed to notice.

- Gavin: Well, Brandon, uh, ya can't have awesome ninja action without awesome... [Pulls out a prop katana] Ninja swords!
- [Gavin does a Karate yell and a swipe at the microphone and the prop katana breaks; Gavin then looks at the sword, then back at the camera]

- Josh Redgrove: "Ninja Zomies?!" Parker, you put you put "Zombie" wrong!
- Parker Dinkleman: Oh.
- Josh Redgrove: And why is your name first?!
- Parker Dinkleman: Well, because I went-- went through the picture!
- Josh Redgrove: I practically invented zombies, okay?! Put my name first!

- Parker Dinkleman: We need robots to battle the Bikini Babes! It's the only way.

- Parker Dinkleman: [Nodding his head] Robots.
- Josh Redgrove: Robots. Robots.
- [Mr. Bugosi throws Josh and Parker to the ground and wants to eat their brains]
- Parker Dinkleman: You know what? Just go ahead! We don't care anymore! This movie is a complete failure!
- Josh Redgrove: Yeah.
- Karlon Bugosi: Mm-hmm?
- Josh Redgrove: Our dreams are officially destroyed!
- Parker Dinkleman: Yeah, so eat our brains! They're not doing us any good!
- Karlon Bugosi: [Referring to Mr. Romero] He thinks everything stinks, does he?
- [Mr. Bugosi walks over to the door and opens it]
- Karlon Bugosi: Excuse me, Mr. Romero. [Goes into Mr. Romero's office and closes the door] I couldn't help but notice your big, juicy... BRAAAAAAINS!
- Lucas E. Romero: Bugosi, is that you?! You still only have 3 films in your contract!
- [Mr. Bugosi eats Mr. Romero's brain and Romero starts screaming]
- [In Josh and Parker's bedroom; it's nighttime]
- Parker Dinkleman: We're never gonna make it by Friday! [Starts crying]
