- While the feud between Scorpion and Sub-Zero is based on the games, the backstory doesn't bring in anything regarding them being from rival clans or the history of the Elder Sub-Zero killing Scorpion who comes back and tries to kill Sub-Zero before learning that it's the younger brother of the one who killed him.
