Moonlighting is a detective comedy drama starring Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd. It was especially notable for its willful breaking of the Fourth wall, with the leads routinely speaking to camera. Many other creative touches gave the show an fresh, inventive feel - not least of which was having characters talking over each other, one of the first outings on TV drama for 'realistic' dialogue.
