Monty Python's Fliegender Zirkus (1972) is a pair of TV specials performed and written by the British sketch comedy troupe Monty Python. Due to the fact that the specials initially aired on the West German network ARD and contained almost all-new material, their infrequent showings in the English-speaking world prior to the advent of DVD gave them a cult status amongst Python fans.
