Was shot four times during the November 2008 Mumbai attacks. He was in India on a spiritual vacation with members of the Synchronicity Foundation and as a guest of the Oberoi Hotel when the attacks happened. He credits his exercise of transcendental meditation and film knowledge of playing dead to saving his life.
