Masters of Horror is an anthology series of hour-long movies featuring some of the most well-known directors of the horror genre (hence the name). Some of the names include Dario Argento, John Carpenter, Larry Cohen, Don Coscarelli, and Joe Dante. Much excitement was built around this project, partly due to the names involved, and partly because there wasn't any horror series on cable for many years.
