Masterpiece Theatre, now officially titled just Masterpiece, is a drama anthology that airs on PBS. Starting in 2008, the show was revamped in many ways. The title was changed to just Masterpiece, and throughout the year, the show is shown in three different ways. Starting in January, it as shown as Masterpiece Classic, showing period dramas, hosted by Laura Linney. Starting in June, it is shown as Masterpiece Mystery!, which takes the place of the former sister show Mystery!, hosted by Alan Cumming. And starting in October, it is shown as Masterpiece Comtemporary, showing dramas in modern settings, hosted by David Tennant.
