Biography
Martin Bruestle was born in Bemidji, Minnesota, and in high school, he was president of the Minnesota Association of Student Councils in the 1980-81 school year. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1987 and received an internship on the series Thirtysomething. From there, he moved to Northern Exposure, where he met executive producer David Chase, who brought him on first as co-producer, then as producer on the hit HBO series The Sopranos.
