Plot Overview
Goons mistake Peggy for a woman whom Mannix had an encounter with, a woman that has incriminating information that could take down a number of Syndicate bigwigs. Joe offers to trade her for Peggy, but the woman steals his gun and flees, and the Mob wants to kill Peggy. Mannix is then forced to go on a frantic search for his secretary, who is being held hostage by the man assigned to kill her, a man suffering from extreme mental instability.
