Ashley and the guys go to California, where Ashley visits his family in Redding and does a few promotional things. The fans go crazy, of course and it is just weird for him. He feels like he is losing the old Ashley. At the end, he realizes that the only connection he has left to the "old Ashley" is Shelli, so he writes her a song about how he'll always love her. And, Ashley also talked to his dad and tried to straighten things out. It was cute. Meanwhile, Jake is writing a song with his former bandmate Pat Bagby and performs it at a concert in his hometown of San Diego.
