Little Mosque on the Prairie is a Canadian sitcom which aired on CBC Television.
Set in the Canadian prairies, the show focuses on a small community of Muslims living in the rural Saskatchewan town of Mercy. Amaar Rashid, formerly a lawyer in his hometown of Toronto, moves west to Mercy and becomes the local mosque's imam.
The show's title, as well as the logo used in its early seasons, are derived from the American drama series Little House on the Prairie, but the two shows are otherwise not related.
