- Stabler: It is revealed that Stabler has a violent past and threw Gordon Rickett through a plate glass window once. Elliot's violent tendancies toward pedophiles and rapists are tested when he nearly kills Rickett at the end of the episode.

- No Order?: This is an extremely unusual episode of SVU in that it has no legal presidings in it. Neither B.D. Wong nor Diane Neal appear in the episode. Instead, the episode deals heavily with interrogation and the reactions of the police department.
