Plot Overview
After serving seven years in prison for an assault he claims he didn't commit, a young artist returns to the scene of the crime--his hometown of Santa Marta, only to find all sorts of trouble waiting for him. His father disowns him, he's harassed by the Sheriff, his alleged victim accuses him of stalking her, he's threatened by her rich husband, as well as a pair of goons and a tough-guy Deputy, and ultimately he's falsely accused of a similar attack on another woman and brought to trial.
