Allusions and References
- The prop comedian Bobby references, Celery Head, is an obvious pastiche of Carrot Top.
- The man Hank pushes aside as he refers to him as "rooster boy" is Lyle Lovett.
- The man Boomhauer converses with is Bob Dylan.
- Willie Nelson claims Ann Richards is playing tether ball with one of his roadies, which we see at during the closing credits. While we only see her in this episode, she would return later in the series to be voiced by the real Ann Richards.
