Basic Information
Buck Strickland is the Owner & Manager of Strickland Propane,Buck is Hank's boss. Buck is a compulsive gambler, chauvinist, alcoholic, cheat, adulterer, and womanizer overweight, balding. Hank is blindly loyal to Buck, who generally treats Hank poorly . Delegates much of his duties to Hank.Buck Spends much of his time with his various mistresses and otherwise enjoying himself around town in his Cadillac Seville STS
Character History
He has been the boss of hank for the last 20+ years. hank and M. F. Thatherton were talking some 8 years before the series started in the bathroom at Strickland Propane and M.F. tells hank he's going places and then M.F. starts Thatherton Fuels

In the episode High Anxiety the sheriff, blames Buck Strickland and then Liz Strickland, based only on the fact they both had motives.
Trivia
Elizabeth "Miz Liz" Strickland is the wife of Buck Strickland. She is very boisterous and is usually seen wearing dress-type clothes. Her hair is always pulled up in a bun. It is shown that Buck Strickland has a shotgun with her name engraved on it. Miz Liz also shows a love interest in Hank (she once attempted to seduce him in a propane-powered hot tub), but the interest is not reciprocated.
