Kidnapped is an hour-long drama series broadcast on NBC in which the teenage son of a wealthy Upper East Side family is kidnapped, leaving everyone else as a suspect. The series focused on an elaborate, triangulated game between the kidnappers, law enforcement, FBI and the private negotiating team of the "perhaps" less-than-picture-perfect family.

The series was designed to follow one kidnapping per season, meaning that the cast would have rotated entirely each season, with the exception of Jeremy Sisto's character, Knapp, who specializes in working kidnapping cases. However, the series was cancelled within weeks of premiering.

It was pulled from the schedule on October 31, 2006, and the remaining episodes were released both online and on the eventual DVD released in April 2007. Despite these opportunities, later decided to broadcast the final eight episodes in the unflattering timeslot of Saturdays at midnight.
