Biography

Kasia Kaczmarek (kɑʃʌ kæʧmɑrɛk) is an Australian stage and television actress.

Born in Poland and raised in Western Australia, Kasia studied acting at the Victorian College of the Arts before moving to New York to study Meisner at the William Esper Studio.

She has worked in television on City Homicide, Rush, The Doctor Blake Mysteries, Mystery of a Hanson Cab, Jack Irish: Bad Debts, Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, and a recurring role on Foxtel's Wentworth. In 2015 Kasia made her feature film debut in The Moon and the Sun for Paramount Studios.

Kasia devised and directed Bring A Nice Dress, a show about brothel workers for the Perth Artrage Festival, and assisted Brendan Cowell on the direction of Ruben Guthrie at Red Stitch Actors' Theatre in 2010.
