Biography
Karch Kiraly was an American Volleyball player team and compete in the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics and win Gold, 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics and win Gold, and play in Beach Volleyball in the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics to win Gold along with teammate Kent Steffes. Karch and his teammate Kent appeared on Baywatch episode: I Spike. In 2004, Karch Kiraly appeared as NBC Beach Volleyball Analyst along with NBC Beach Volleyball Play-by-play host, former Olympian, Gold Medalist Chris Mawlowe for Women's and Men's Beach Volleyball in Athens 2004 Summer Olympics, and Beijing 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. In 2012, Karch became an assistant coach under Head Coach Hugh McCutcheon for the Women's Volleyball Team representing the United States of America in London 2012 Summer Olympics, won Silver lost to Brazil. In 2013, Karch became a Head Coach in Women's National Volleyball Team of the United States. On August 20, 2016, Coach Kiraly has help Team USA defeating the Netherlands for the Bronze Medal in Rio 2016 Summer Olympics, ever since they lost to Serbia in the Semifinal on August 18, 2016. And on August 8, 2021, Head Coach Kiraly has help Women's Volleyball Team defeating the 2 time Olympic Champions from Brazil, becoming the first Americans to win Gold held in 2020 Tokyo Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
