KTVX is an American local station in Salt Lake City, Utah, which serves the Salt Lake City area and the state of Utah, along with bordering portions of Idaho, Wyoming and Nevada. Nexstar Broadcasting Group owns the ABC affiliate, which operates on digital channel 40 and displays on tuners as virtual channel 4. It is a sister station to local CW affiliate KUCW, which carries KTVX's ABC programming when KTVX cannot do so due to interruptions for breaking news or pre-emptions for programs of local interest. It is also the MeTV affiliate for most of Utah, carried on virtual channel 4.2.
