KPLC is an NBC affiliate in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The station broadcasts on digital channel 7 displayed to tuners on virtual channel 7 and is owned by Raycom Media.

KPLC began in 1954 as an NBC affiliate with a secondary affiliation with ABC. In 1956, the station added NTA Film Network and carried the network on a secondary basis until 1961 when it was dropped from the station. In 1980, the station also discontinued ABC programming which is now seen on KATC channel 3 in Lafayette which serves as the default ABC affiliate for the area. KPLC served as the default NBC affiliate for Lafayette since that area didn't have their own NBC affiliate until KLAF-LD signed on as Lafayette's first NBC affiliate.
