Notes
Comic Book Parallels
- Deadman: Boston Brand was once a circus acrobat who was murdered during a performance by a mystery man known only as Hook. As a ghost, he was given the power to possess any living creature by Rama Kushna, a Hindu goddess, in order to find justice against his murder. However, during his search, he felt obligated to assist the innocent. Batman did, in fact, help Deadman find his killer in "You Can't Hide From a Dead Man."
- First Appearance: Strange Adventures #205, written by Arnold Drake and drawn by Carmine Infantino
Arc Advancement
Happenings
- The Legion: Members of Grodd's league of supervillains stormed a temple inhabited by Boston Brand's master in order to steal a mystical item filled with the souls of hundreds of monks that can power a machine built by Luthor that allows Grodd to rewrite the DNA of every human.
Characters
- Lex Luthor: Lex has taken over the leadership role in the Legion of Doom after shooting Grodd.
- Batman: While being possessed by Boston Brand, Batman accidentally kills Devil Ray with a gun. He clearly is taking the blame for it however.
Referbacks
- Gorilla City featured prominently in the Flash-centric episodes The Brave and the Bold, part 1 and part 2 from the first season. Solivar knows the Justice League from that encounter.
