Plot Overview
After Bruzzy Burke is convicted of killing his bookie, Judd goes to work on an appeal. His main tactic is to prove that Burke's girlfriend, the prosecution's 'surprise witness', is in fact conspiring to set him up to get him out of the way and allow for various criminal rackets to take over at the hotel.
