Joe 90 is a children's animated sci-fi program that aired on ITV. This was another Supermarionation show from the world of Gerry Anderson. It tells the story of Joe McClaine, a 9 year old boy like no other, for he is an agent for W.I.N. - The World Intellegence Network. When called upon for a mission he is given the brain pattern of a person who would be best suited to help him with a mission. For example he could be given the knowledge of a pilot, and know exactly how to fly a plane. He gets the knowledge by utilising his father's (Mac) invention BIG RAT - Brain Impulse Galvanascope Record And Transfer. By being seated in the Rat Trap, a rotating spherical chamber, recorded brain impulses could be transferred to Joe's brain, enabling him to do almost anything.
