James Poniewozik
James Poniewozik is an American TV critic who has written for Salon.com and TIME Magazine.

Biography
Born and raised in Monroe, Michigan, James Poniewozik received his BA in English from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and he then went to New York University's graduate program in fiction writing. After contributing to such publications as Fortune, Rolling Stone and The New York Times Book Review in the early to mid-'90s, he became the media critic and media section editor for Salon.com in 1997. In July 1999, he moved to TIME Magazine, where he has since been the TV and media critic and columnist, who also writes the blog Tuned In on time.com. In 2007, he compiled TIME Magazine's 100 Best TV Shows of All-TIME for the publication's centennial celebration.
