Season One of Jackie Chan Adventures premiered on September 9, 2000.
In this season, Jackie's (unbeknownst to him) cousin, Jade, is sent to live with him, as they and Uncle track down twelve magic talismans for Section 13. Section 13 wants to claim these talismans before Valmont and his crew, the Dark Hand, get their hands on them. The Dark Hand wants the talismans to revive the ancient dragon Shendu, as he promised them riches.
