While defeating the demon rats... Sango and Kirara oick up on Kohakus scent and follow it. It turns out that the shrine creating the demon rats was in Kohakus possession. Sango tried to help him but the rats stampeeded on top of them both. Kirara tried to help them too but got dragged under too. In the end, Sango is laying on a bed all wrapped up because of her wounds. Miroku askes her if she regreted protecting Kohaku. She sadly replied yes but then she said that if she hadnt, she would regret it even more.
