Hurry Up, He's Dead is a satirical news program, anchored by a man who will be last man alive in Iraq (as of 2017, the show is told in flashback). The title of the show first appears on-screen as The Government, but then the word is split in half, producing the Iraqi slang phrase that makes up the program's title. The program takes aim at multiple sides, including the American occupation, the Iraqi government, and the militias. The show was produced only to run during Ramadan, the holy month of fasting. Though set in Iraq, the show is filmed in the city of Dubai (in the United Arab Emerates) due to safety and noise concerns. [1] [2]
