Plot Overview
When bodies start piling up, including that of one of the young LAPD officers assisting on the case, Hunter travels to Escondido, Mexico in search of hitman DePaul, only to have him killed by CIA operatives as Hunter is about to make an arrest. Brad Wilkes tells Hunter just why the CIA was interested in the killer, and Hunter soon becomes satisfied that, while DePaul committed four murders, he's not the killer of actress Shannon Richards, bringing him back full circle to the surviving producer and also to private detective Cruz.
